Since 1982, The DMA Nonprofit Federation has been an aggressive and effective advocate for nonprofits in postal, regulatory, legislative, and accountability issues. It is the premier agent for improving public awareness and receptivity to direct marketing-driven philanthropy, and is the "top brand" among all associations and advocacy groups working on behalf of nonprofits.

The DMANF leads the way in professional education, networking, and industry advancement in nonprofit direct response fundraising with four annual conferences: Washington (January and April), Leadership Summit (June) and New York (August). Other educational offerings include seminars and a brown bag lunch series. 
 
Located in Washington, DC, the DMANF is one of the largest segments of the Direct Marketing Association, the leading trade organization representing the industry and authoritative provider of industry statistics and publications and educational events targeted by marketing discipline.
